JOB SUMMARY:

New Riff Distilling is looking for energetic and committed team members to join our crew of Brand Ambassadors. As a New Riff Brand Ambassador, the ideal candidate can take what we're building- a premier, one-of-a-kind experience and a passionate community of consumers- and help us amplify our message and impact. This candidate will report directly to our Hospitality Manager, working to ensure a first-class experience for every guest that visits our Distillery.

The positions will average between 15-30 hours per week, depending on workload. Shifts will generally be scheduled between 10 am and 7:30 pm, Tuesday-Sunday. This is a part-time hourly position starting at $18 to $19 per hour.

BRAND AMBASSADOR DUTIES

TOURS:

• Ability to prepare and present a tour narrative, as well as accurately answer questions on the history of New Riff and the production of our bourbon, rye, and other spirits.
• Ability to facilitate, educate, and control large tour groups. Always striving to provide a level of ease and an engaging, safe, and memorable experience for our tour guests
• Strive to make every tour guest an enthusiastic fan of New Riff Distilling and its products.
• Provide exceptional customer service to all New Riff visitors.
• Encourage tour visitors to visit the gift shop, make suggestions for purchases and help visitors to locate their desired items.
• Execute a curated and guided tasting experience with an approachable knowledge
• Engage and connect with our Single Barrel Customers in a guided Distillery experience

GIFT SHOP ASSISTANCE:

• Greeting customers when they walk through the door.
• Building rapport through conversation and honest recommendations.
• Ringing up sales.
• Answering the phone and handling phone inquiries.
• Assisting in maintaining the stock room and setting up merchandise displays on the sales floor.
• Collaborating with fellow team members to keep the sales floor area clean and organized.

REQUIREMENTS:**

• High-energy, gregarious, positive, and team-focused individual with a high level of customer service understanding and experience.
• Commitment to study, learn and educate others on the culture and history of New Riff and the spirits industry.
• Ability to work as a team member or independently.
• Ability to provide consistent tour experiences in line with our brand standards.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent time management skills.
• Keen attention to detail. Perceptive and able to think quickly on your feet.
• Comfortable in a fast-paced work environment.
• Inherent ability to interface with a wide and diverse customer base.
• An outgoing and engaging personality who is articulate and charismatic.
• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Able to stand, walk, climb stairs, squat and bend as this position requires a combination of mobility throughout the shift.
• Able to lift 50 pounds.
• Available to work a flexible work schedule that includes evenings and weekends.
