Currently we are seeking a Wiring Technician to join our team and be an essential part of our manufacturing team. This person will be instrumental in installing final electrical, wiring components, and bolt-on assemblies to the garbage trucks as one of the last steps before mounted onto the chassis. We are willing to train the right candidate. We are currently offering a $1,000 sign-on bonus!
Your Role in Our Mission:
Utilize hand, air, and power tools to bolt on and assemble fabricated metal components.
Prepare wire looms, mount lights and switches, add reflectors to cover sheets, and wire finished product efficiently.
Take pride in the accuracy of your work by following specifications, work orders, and known practices.
Inspect and test your own work for function and appearance.
Ensure safety through operating equipment in a safe manner and reporting any hazards associated with equipment.
Maintain a clean and orderly work environment.
To Perform this Job Successfully:
1 year of preferred experience with:
12-volt DC
Forklift operation;
Manual/power tools.
Ability to work in a fast-paced work environment.
Demonstrate excellent communication skills including effective listening skills with teammates.
Maintain a positive sense of teamwork, including the ability to maintain regular attendance.
