The position is responsible for determining the most effective means for an organization to use capital, equipment, energy, facilities, information, material, labor, and other assets to make a product.

    ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

    Establish method of manufacturing which will include work centers, machines, and production rates.

    Observes workers operating equipment and performing tasks to determine time involved and fatigue rate.

    Studies sequence of operations to be performed and flow of business and materials.

    Studies and records time, motion, methods, and speed involved in performance of maintenance, production, and other worker operations to establish standard production rate and to improve efficiency.

    Confers with management and engineering staff to implement plans and recommendations.

    Prepare charts, graphs, and diagrams to illustrate workflow, routing, floor layouts, how materials are handled and how machines are used.

    KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES

    Bachelor’s Degree in Manufacturing or Industrial Engineering related field.

    Minimum of 3-5 years of manufacturing experience.

    Knowledge of ERP system, Epicor experience preferred.

    Knowledge of fabrication, welding, hydraulics, pneumatics preferred.

    Knowledge of production processes, manufacturing routings, and quality control processes.

    Knowledge of machines and tools, their designs, uses, repair and maintenance.

    Experience using Solid Works and/or AutoCAD preferred.

    Excellent organizational skills handling project level responsibilities.

    Excellent written and verbal communications skills.

    Ability to analyze complex functions, procedures and problems to find creative, logical and effective solutions.
