    Quality Technician

    JOB DESCRIPTION

    This person reports to the engineering department and Manufacturing Director and is responsible for performing tests on products at various stages of production to ensure that customer specifications are being met and company quality standards are being followed.

    ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

    Conduct quality control inspections on finished goods and through production process.

    Educate production team on quality control issues and work with departmental supervisors to improve product quality

    Coordinate completion of units

    Create comprehensive documentation for quality issues and note the corrective actions that were taken

    Assist troubleshooting issues to make repairs

    Undertake special projects as required

    Engage team members to help make the improvements

    KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES

    Excellent written and verbal communications skills

    Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work as a positive team member

    CDL preferred

    Knowledge of manufacturing processes and basic technical skills

    Basic knowledge of hand tools

    Ability to read and comprehend technical documents and work orders.

    Must be driven and motivated to achieve the objectives of the position with little supervision

    Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

    Physical ability to work in awkward positions such as kneeling, lying down, and overhead

    Ability to climb and work from ladder.

    Ability to work in inclement weather
