    QPS Employment Group is hiring a RECRUITER for our branch office in Des Moines, IA. We are looking for a passionate individual who is motivated and committed to hard work, with a great work ethic. The person must possess the genuine desire to positively impact our associate employees we work with every day. The Recruiter will recruit, interview and place temp, temp to hire and direct employees on job assignments with local businesses. It will also include employee check-ins at the client sites and follow-up with our associate employees and our clients to ensure customer satisfaction.

     

    This is a permanent full-time, internal opportunity with QPS. Working hours will be Monday - Friday, 1st shift, working 40-45 hours/week. Must be flexible to work overtime hours and occasionally drive on company time. This person will report directly to the Branch Manager.

    Duties:

    • Perform searches for qualified candidates using computer databases, networking, internet recruiting resources, cold calls, media and employee referrals
    • Maintain communication with clients and temporary employees to keep them updated
    • Perform interviews with potential candidates and conduct all necessary background checks
    • Assist with payroll issues, contacting clients and working with employees to fix any incorrect hours issues
    • Acquire a thorough understanding of a job requisition / description for required competencies, skills and knowledge
    • Provide coaching and counseling to temporary employees as needed to ensure job performance and job satisfaction
    • Document all applicant and client information accurately
    • Perform 1st day arrival calls, weekly temp calls, etc
    • Handle a fast pace environment and multitask in a team environment
    • Operate in a professional and confidential manner
    • High level of integrity
    • Utilize effective time management

     

    Qualifications:

    • High School diploma or GED preferred
    • 2-4 years of related experience or Associate’s degree
    • Knowledge of Microsoft Windows programs (Word, Excel, Outlook)
    • Valid driver's license, vehicle, auto insurance

  • Qualifications

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    • Bachelor’s degree is required.
    • Minimum of 5 (five) years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry
    • Minimum of 3 (three) years of sales experience, preferably in an Oncology, Specialty Care, Hospital or Rare Disease area
    • Proven track record of sales results, commitment to performance excellence
    • Ability to develop strategic long term relationships with customers aimed at helping patients and achieving business results
    • Strong alignment to our corporate values of patient at center, collaboration, relentless pursuit of excellence and trust in all we do
