• Follow all departmental work instructions as identified
• Operate all rivet stations in organization as required to meet production requirements
• Train new associates/temporaries within assigned work stations
• Maintain control of WIP inventory
• Notify supervisor of any safety violations
• Complete all required training applicable to assigned position
• Exhibit positivity, flexibility, creativity, and a willingness to take on new responsibilities as requested or required.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
• Ability to operate all hand tools (e.g. guns, drills, etc.)
• Ability to lift 60-100 lbs. repeatedly
• Flexibility in attitude and willingness to work in all areas as needed
• Ability to stand for 8 –10 hours
• Demonstrated proficiency in communication skills
• Ability to work overtime with little or no notice
• Ability to work a staggered shift or second shift
• Ability to understand and follow work instructions or MP sheets
• Ability to be cross trained
• Ability to work well in a team environment

TRAINED ASSEMBLERS WITH LEADERSHIP ABILITY ARE ELIGIBLE TO BE SELECTED FOR PROMOTION TO LINE LEAD POSITIONS AND WILL PERFORM THE DUTIES AS DETAILED ABOVE, AND WILL IN ADDITION FULFILL THE ROLE OF TEAM LEADER FOR THEIR LINE, RESPONSIBLE FOR IMMEDIATE SUPERVISION OF TEAM MEMBERS, DELEGATION OF TASKS AND ADDITIONAL REPORTING DUTIES.

QUALIFICATIONS:

1. Able to stand for extended periods of time; shift duration 8 to 10 hours
2. Able to lift up to 50 pounds on an occasional to frequent basis
3. Able to work weekend and overtime hours as needed
4. Accurate counting and basic math skills
5. Manual dexterity for fine finger manipulations
6. Attention to detail
