This position is working directly for Corestaff as our 1st shift Onsite Coordinator. This individual will be working onsite at a manufacturing facility, handling employee relations issues for Corestaff’s flex workforce. This individual will work alongside a team of other onsite coordinators as well as the recruiting team at the nearby branch. They must be comfortable working within a manufacturing environment, communicating with both blue collar workforce as well as supervisors and managers.
Job Duties:
- Build relationships with supervisors and temporary associates to provide exemplary customer service
- Complete check in for new hires
- Confirm badge numbers and badges are correct
- Confirm correct footwear
- Keep track of the shift starts
- Confirm starting department number
- Send out start up information via email and maintain a spreadsheet
- Take associates to their jobs on the floor
- Update requisitions after new hires are placed
Floor Duties
- Check in with Supervisors and associates to build relationships and be proactive in addressing concerns
- Stay up to date on requisitions
- Follow up of any open items
- Track attendance
- Create and issue disciplinary action to associates as needed
- Follow up with any concerns such as:
- Badgeing
- Timekeeping
- Payroll
- Flex associate behavior/performance
- Employee relations concerns for flex associates
- Obtain necessary compliance documents when needed
- Handle terminations
- Handle safety investigations
- Other onsite duties as required
Required Skills
- Personable and enthusiastic, able to speak with managers, supervisors, and associates intelligently about their concerns
- Intermediate computer comprehension, able to use Outlook, Word, and Excel without assistance
- Quick learner and adaptable
- Bilingual in English and at least one other language; Vietnamese or Spanish preferred
- Able to walk and stand comfortably for up to 8 hours per day
- Comfortable in a manufacturing setting
- Customer service oriented
- Associates degree or higher preferred
