POSITION SUMMARY: The New York City Department of Education (DOE) is the largest school system in the nation, with nearly 1.1 million students and approximately 75,000+ teachers in over 1,800 schools.
The Senior Advisor of EduStat within the Office of the First Deputy Chancellor supports the EduStat Executive Director. The Senior Director will drive coherence by collaborating cross-functionally and communicating with stakeholders about EduStat. The Senior Advisor will actively participate in various collaboration activities to understand barriers and help the EduStat team overcome hurdles. Performs related work.
REPORTS TO: Executive Director, EduStat
DIRECT REPORTS: EduStat Managers
KEY RELATIONSHIPS: The Office of the First Deputy Chancellor, the Continuous Improvement Team, Executive Superintendents, Superintendents, Borough/Citywide Offices, the Chancellor’s office, Chancellor’s Cabinet, Office of Policy and Evaluation, and school communities.

Must currently possess or will possess by date of hire, New York State certification as a school district administrator (SDA) or school district leader (SDL). PLEASE NOTE: WE DO NOT ACCEPT INTERNSHIP CERTIFICATES.
