    Due to continued growth Georgiou has an opportunity for a 2 year post graduation Contracts Administrator to join our project based civil construction business. Your role will see you reporting into a Project Manager with the ongoing support of a Commercial Manager on the project. This is a FIFO position to the North West working a 2:1 roster.

     

    REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

     

    • Previous FIFO experience and a willingness to work away on an attractive FIFO roster is essential

    • Demonstrated experience in a contract administration role within the civil construction industry

    • Strong understanding and experience in a range of complex contracts, ideally dealing with blue chip mining clients such as FMG, BHP and RIO. 

    • Hold a highly analytical approach and have strong attention to detail

    • Experience in managing and controlling end of month progress claims with subcontractors

    • Self-starter with a proven record of managing other site administrators

    • Solid understanding of forecasting and costings, such as accrual and end of month process

    • Must be adaptable and have the ability to interface and liaise with internal project team and subcontractors

    • Ability to develop client and subcontractor relationships

     

    WHAT TO EXPECT IN THIS ROLE:

     

    • Manage all cost and contractual matters ensuring project costs, revenues, claims, and supplier agreements are administered
    • Initiate, review, analyse plan and administer the closing of contracts
    • Working with all parties to ensure the best possible Commercial outcome is achieved
    • Maintain good working relationships with clients and subcontractors while negotiating and managing the head contract and subcontractors for the project
    • Influence and lead others in the team to produce high quality project outcomes
    • Ensure that delivered products comply with contract specifications and recording and reporting on any non-conformances
    • Mitigating risk on the project offering accurate cost projections
    • Ongoing budget reports
    • Management of sub-contractor agreements
    • Identifying along the way where we can improve cost efficiencies without compromising successful project outcomes

    Ability to read, analyze, and interpret WFS Employee Handbook, WFS Supervisors Manual, applicable union contract, general business periodicals, professional journals, technical, procedures, or governmental regulations, airline policy and procedures manuals.

     

    Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.

     

    Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups or managers, clients, and customers.

     

    Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.

     

    Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

     

    Ability to lift up to 70 lbs.

     

    Ability to operate equipment and hold necessary licensing (if applicable).

     

    Current IATA Dangerous Goods Training Certification is desirable.

     

    Reports to work on a regular and timely basis.

     

    Ability to perform specific responsibilities related to your shift.
