Responsibilities: • Evaluate new customers’ insurance needs, insurance risk, existing coverage, long-term goals, and financial status through consultations to create a tailored experience that exceeds expectations • Provide warm and professional customer service while onboarding new clients and maintaining existing clients, including booking appointments, inquiry responses, insurance eligibility, and questions concerning billing and insurance policies • Grow new business by generating a prospective client base via networking, asking for referrals, and other marketing strategies • Stay abreast of insurance industry protocols and policy changes to ensure fulfillment of all policy requirements, continuing education, and monitor insurance portfolios to ensure mutual satisfaction • Attend training and obtain relevant licenses in a timely manner Qualifications: • Candidates with an active Life & Health insurance license are strongly preferred • Excellent verbal and written communication skills required • Prior health insurance or life insurance experience a bonus • Familiarity with the Microsoft Office suite • Previous customer service or experience as a sales representative preferred • Highly self-motivated and self-disciplined with the ability to work effectively and independently • Outgoing personality with the ability to develop relationships (i.e., “People Person") and a sincere desire to help others Compensation: $75,000 - $95,000
