Responsibilities: • Collaborate with hiring managers to understand their talent needs and develop effective recruitment strategies. • Source, identify, and engage with potential candidates through various channels, including job boards, social media, networking events, and referrals. • Conduct thorough candidate assessments and interviews to evaluate their qualifications, skills, and cultural fit. • Build and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified candidates for various roles within the insurance industry. • Utilize applicant tracking systems to manage candidate information, track progress, and ensure a seamless recruitment process. • Develop and maintain relationships with educational institutions, industry associations, and other relevant networks to attract top talent. • Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and competitive landscape to adapt recruitment strategies accordingly. • Collaborate with hiring teams to coordinate interview processes, gather feedback, and make informed hiring decisions. • Negotiate job offers and provide guidance to candidates throughout the hiring process. • Participate in employer branding initiatives and represent New York Life at career fairs and industry events. Qualifications: • Demonstrated experience in talent acquisition, preferably within the insurance or financial services industry. Experience in recruiting for various positions within the insurance field is highly desirable. • Strong knowledge and understanding of talent acquisition best practices, sourcing strategies, candidate evaluation techniques, and recruitment technologies. • Familiarity with insurance products, roles, and industry-specific requirements to effectively evaluate candidates' qualifications and cultural fit within New York Life. • Proven ability to proactively source and attract qualified candidates using a variety of channels, such as job boards, social media platforms, professional networks, and referrals. • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to build rapport and maintain relationships with candidates, hiring managers, and other stakeholders throughout the recruitment process. • Ability to work collaboratively with hiring managers, HR teams, and other stakeholders to align recruitment strategies with business objectives and hiring needs. • Strong analytical skills to track and analyze recruitment data, including key performance indicators, and provide insights to improve recruitment strategies and outcomes. • Comfortable using applicant tracking systems (ATS), social media platforms, and other recruitment tools to streamline processes, manage candidate data, and optimize sourcing efforts. • Understanding of legal and regulatory requirements related to talent acquisition, including equal employment opportunity (EEO) regulations and data privacy laws. • Demonstrated professionalism, ethical conduct, and ability to handle confidential information with discretion and integrity. Compensation: $60,000 - $150,000 yearly
