Evaluate their existing policies to identify any gaps or areas for improvement. • Recommend suitable insurance products and coverage options from New York Life's portfolio that align with the client's needs and goals. Present the benefits, features, and exclusions of different policies to help clients make informed decisions. • Facilitate the application and underwriting process for clients' insurance policies. Collect necessary information, complete paperwork, and liaise with the underwriting department to ensure smooth policy issuance. • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to understand their evolving needs and provide ongoing support. Conduct regular policy reviews and proactively suggest adjustments or additional coverage as needed. • Actively seek opportunities to expand the client base by identifying potential leads, networking, and participating in community events. Present New York Life's insurance offerings to prospective clients and generate new business. • Adhere to all regulatory requirements, ethical standards, and company policies. Ensure clients' insurance programs comply with applicable laws and regulations. • Collaborate with other members of the New York Life team, such as underwriters and financial advisors, to deliver comprehensive financial solutions to clients. Share knowledge and best practices within the team to enhance overall service quality. Qualifications: • An in-depth understanding of various insurance products, coverages, and industry practices is essential. Familiarity with life insurance, annuities, retirement planning, and investment products is highly valued. • No need for individual licensing; New York Life sponsors its employees' licenses, allowing them to sell and service insurance products within state regulations. • Strong interpersonal and communication skills are crucial to building rapport with clients and effectively explaining complex insurance concepts. Proven sales experience and a client-focused approach are highly beneficial. • Ability to assess clients' needs, evaluate risks, and analyze insurance policies to provide suitable recommendations. Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills are important in this role. • Adherence to high ethical standards and compliance with industry regulations and guidelines.
