Entry-Level Insurance Sales Agent
We want to add a motivated and personable new employee to our insurance agent team who is seeking a new learning opportunity with lots of room for growth. The ideal candidate for our Entry-Level Insurance Agent position has the solid communications skills it takes to drive insurance sales among potential clients and new clients. Bring a friendly attitude and a passion for customer service, and we’ll invest our resources into training you to be a successful insurance sales representative! Responsibilities: • Serve as an attentive listener when communicating with new and potential clients in order to accurately identify their unique needs prior to pursuing specific insurance sales • Commit to remaining educated about the various types of insurance, insurance-related protocols, and policy changes to ensure fulfillment of program requirements and ensure our customers are satisfied • Maintain a portfolio of existing customers and pursue insurance sales with new clients by using sales strategies that may include cold calling and networking • Tailor risk management strategies and client profiles to reflect each customer’s individual needs • Take ownership of ensuring there are accurate records of all necessary bookkeeping, client, and sales reports in order to track and communicate the status of assigned goals What is expected of our Agents? • Ability to understand the needs and financial concerns of clients • Ability to educate clients on how to plan ahead for the future financially so that they are prepared for unfortunate life events/circumstances they may encounter • Promote customized ways for clients to achieve their long-term financial goals • Cultivating relationships, with a view to helping every family member or individual pursue financial security • Ability to build an insurance and financial practice through establishing professional networks and prospecting for new clients • Providing compassion and guidance to clients when unfortunate life circumstances arise • Focus on developing and maintaining long-term bonds with clients, resulting in trust and continuity of the community over time Qualifications: • Candidates must have some computer experience, including the ability to effectively use Microsoft Office programs • Candidates must have or be willing to get an insurance license • Open to embracing the insurance industry and becoming educated about its relevant state and federal regulations • Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills required; customer service experience is a plus • Basic understanding of sales lead or accounting software is helpful Qualities that we look for in our Agents: • Sales experience preferred – ambitious mindset, no mile too far • Strong communication skills both written and verbal • Desire to help families and businesses to “Be Good At Life” • Strong business acumen.
