    You will be expected to manage projects including the collection of assets and information from inception to completion, and must be proactive, quick thinking, a problem solver and ultra-organized, ensuring account satisfaction and service excellence.  Apply knowledge of inventory management and all associated tasks to complete analysis and trending of client data.   Develop and execute inventory strategies related to stock and replenishment levels, working closely with client stakeholders to maximize understanding and profitability of inventory levels, receive client’s shipping schedule and effectively place orders within RRD’s web-based tool to place release orders of all needed items to stores, ensuring 100% on-time delivery and satisfaction. Coordinate with warehouse through open communication and drive 100% compliance with all SLAs. Establish and maintain all inventory levels through continuous monitoring of data and reporting.  May assess available technologies and recommend solutions to technical teams.

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Inventory management, planning and forecasting for key account.
    • Monitor and maintain optimal inventory levels for over 20,000 inventory positions on a daily basis.
    • Use internal reports to Analyze data and create cadenced reports to monitor forecasts, inventory levels and fill rates to ensure client has full line of sight to all product, replenishment needs.
    • Provide analysis to Sales/Client regarding product performance, inventory and supply chain risks.
    • Provide proactive updates to client and other stakeholders on project status. 
    • Lead day-to-day management and optimization of projects. Set project milestones, create project estimates and tracks schedules.
    • Review and track all outbound orders for individual stores for key account, ensuring on-time delivery.
    • Work closely with warehouse to monitor schedule changes, receipt reporting, maintenance, shipping, and delivery performance and develop action plans to remedy any areas needing improvement.
    • Act as the point person between client and vendors where appropriate and needed.  Maintain positive and supportive working relationships with key client contacts, Merchants, Vendors, and Print Production resources.
    • Ensure clean invoicing on the needed cadence using the appropriate billing practices required by the client, while meeting SLAs.
    • Apply in-depth professional experience and broad knowledge of both business and technology to analyze and develop integrated solutions to resolve moderate to complex technical or business issues.  
    • Excellent client service and proactive communication at the highest level to meet client’s fast-paced needs.
    • Ability to troubleshoot and react quickly, partnering with all internal teams to meet client’s ever-changing needs, understanding that outside factors may impact our business (i.e. freight shipments not delivered on time).
    • Initiate interaction and meaningful interaction with client to understand business needs, identify the best solution, and architect the processes to meet the needs.      
    • Assist in the analysis and design of new business processes around  methodology to reduce cost, improve productivity, improve quality, predictability and timeliness, reduce risk, improve cross-group coordination, improve skills and improve customer and associate satisfaction.
    • Partner with business architects and other planners to assess current capabilities and identify high-level requirements.
    • Participate in quality management reviews and quarterly business reviews, providing reports as the client requests them. May be engaged in print projects when requested by the client; there are two areas currently serviced by RRD: 1) Print Production and 2) Inventory Management/Fulfillment. The primary responsibility of this position is complete control of inventory management, but print knowledge will be helpful.
    • Performs other related duties and participates in special projects as assigned.

    Required Skills

    • Bachelor degree in discipline related to functional work or role with 4-6 years of relevant work experience OR demonstrated ability to meet the job requirements through a comparable number of years of applicable work experience.
    • Able to apply broad work experience and knowledge when analyzing complex problems.  Must be able consistently identify critical elements, variables and alternatives to develop solutions.  Must be able to organize/prioritize existing resources and incorporate new information, as needed, to implement the most effective solutions. Able to communicate clearly and courteously with those who need to know of decisions/actions/problems.
    • Able to apply excellent business acumen and collaborative skills when resolving problems.
    • Able to apply excellent functional computer knowledge in utilizing Microsoft Windows, MAC, or other technical tools in completing assignments.  Able to apply expertise in all the tools or applications used to complete work assignments. Able to mentor junior level team members in the use of tools and/or systems in the position.
    • Requires excellent communication skills with ability to state messages in a clear manner by using language that is easy for others to understand.   Able to explain programs policies and procedures in language that is understood by others. .
    • Experience developing ways of accomplishing goals with little or no supervision, depending on oneself to complete objectives and determining when escalation of issues is necessary.
    • At least two (2) years of experience in diagnosing, isolating, and resolving complex business issues and recommending and implementing strategies to resolve problems.
    • At least two (2) years of experience with analyzing and reporting data in order to identify issues, trends, or exceptions to drive improvement of results and find solutions.
    • Intermediate level skill in Microsoft Excel (for example: opening a workbook, inserting a row, selecting font style and size, formatting cells as currency, using copy, paste and save functions, aligning text, selecting cells, renaming a worksheet, inserting a column, selecting a chart style, inserting a worksheet, setting margins, selecting page orientation, using spell check and/or printing worksheets). 
    • Must be able to modify communication style both formal and informal to match the appropriate level of the audience targeted.  Requires strong understanding of the impact of a message on the organization or customer. Able to write with the clarity and precision necessary for the work being performed.
    • Self-motivated, independent, creative, energetic, assertive approach.
    • Ability to manage multiple projects in a dynamic environment.
    • Excellent interpersonal skills; experience and ability to work with cross-functional teams, internally and client-side.
    • Ability to problem solve, analyze potential solutions and use good sound judgment to make decisions.  Strong attention to detail is required.
    • Ability to create and work with cross-functional and/or distributed “virtual” teams.
    • Must have the ability to work independently.
