The NEW YORK PROSECUTORS TRAINING INSTITUTE (NYPTI) is seeking a full-time Application Developer at our offices in Albany, NY. NYPTI (www.nypti.org), a not-for-profit corporation, providing legal training, SaaS cloud applications, and assistance to New York State District Attorneys. 

The successful candidate will assist with full-stack application development, system analysis, documentation, designing and testing NYPTI applications with: C#, React, VB.net, PHP, Python, JavaScript, Kubernetes, HELM, Kibana, Prometheus, MS SQL Server, Mongo DB, MySQL , PostgreSQL, SOLR, Elastic Search, Linux, CSHTML, CSS, and other technologies.

The successful candidate must also:

• Have excellent in person, online and written communication skills with a service-oriented attitude
• Be adept at learning new technologies and collaborating with team members in a fast-moving agile development environment.
• 2+ years of development experience in high traffic customer-facing web applications
• A Bachelor’s degree is preferred but a combination of education and professional experience will be considered.
• Pass a background check.
• Be able to work in our Albany office.
