Store Manager for New Yorker, Palisades Center, West Nyack, NY

Your strong leadership skills and retail experience will set the example for your team while performing various tasks related to customer service, visual merchandising, sales and stock management, buying, loss prevention, human resources and operations.

Essential Functions

· Planning and implementing strategies to attract customers.

· Coach and Support new and existing sales

· Make sure all employees adhere to company’s policies and guidelines

· Act as our store’s representative and set an example for our staff

· Help monitor and maintain store inventory

Skills Required

· Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment

· Excellent communication skills

· Detail oriented and organized nature

· Prioritizes tasks to maximize efficiency of team

· Takes initiative to accomplish all set goals · Great customer service skills and problem solving attitude · Leads and motivates team by setting the example

Experience

· Proven experience as a Retail Manager or similar position

· Familiar with customer service principles

Education

· Must be 25 years of age

· A high school diploma or GED preferred

Work Environment/Hours

· Full time employment, 40 hours a week

· Must be able to work a flexible work schedule including evenings, weekends, holidays and non-business hours

Physical Requirements

· Ability to lift items of up to 35 lbs. and perform other physical duties (i.e. climb ladder, use a step tool, lifting, bending)

· Ability to stand for long periods of time, bend, stretch, engage in repetitive motions, push, pull and carry items (mannequins, clothing, totes, torsos, etc.) for a short distance
