We are looking for a Manufacturing Coordinator. The Manufacturing Coordinator facilitates and ensures Production Supervisors comply with APQP/IATF guidelines, applicable Policies and Procedures, Standards of Work and consistent performance management of Production Team Members.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Provide Direction and Supervision to Oil Seals Operations Supervisors in coordination with Value Stream Manager • Ensure alignment and understanding of KPI’s across all shifts among all Team Members • Ensure adequate scheduling of staff • Continuously Improve Operating Procedures and Work Instructions • Identify and implement opportunities to streamline production changeovers to meet Routing Standards • Ensure Fair and Consistent application of Policies and Procedures across all shifts • Provide training or training oversight for all Production Team Members including Supervisors • Provide coaching and mentoring to Team Members and Supervisors to facilitate achievement of individual and organizational goals • Serve as Backup to Production Scheduler
Required Skills Required Experience
EDUCATION: High School Diploma or GED required, Associate’s Degree Preferred
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:
• Demonstrated understanding of APQP and IATF Requirements • Demonstrated experience with Inventory Management including analysis of transactions to determine accuracy improvements • Demonstrated experience applying Lean Manufacturing Principles • Demonstrated ability to interact with multiple support groups and other Operations Value Streams • Demonstrated Ability to evaluate and improve efficiency of production operations • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and objectives • Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate at all levels of the organization
