JOB DESCRIPTION
The Project Detailer is responsible for initiating, detailing and submitting active CMF projects, once the project has been won by the CMF sales team. The Project Detailer works closely with various in-house departments, as well as customers and vendors. This opportunity requires an individual to be detail-oriented and quality-focused while using skills acquired through experience within the doors, frames, andhardware industry. The individual is expected to exhibit the core values of the company - to Own it, Work as ONE team, Find a way, and Play to win.
MISSION
The mission for this role is to accurately and efficiently detail CMF-awarded projects, thereby allowing project managers to focus on managing existing projects and allowing the sales team to focus on winning new projects.
OUTCOMES
- Detail $20M - $30M of Commercial/Multifamily awarded projects
- 95% on-time delivery of all details to customer
- Zero quality defects related to detailing errors
- Detailed margin greater than or equal to bid margin

Director of Project Management
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Collaboration with estimators (sales team) initially for review of project scope.
- Reviewing architectural drawings, plans, specifications, addenda, and other relevant information.
- Using experience and knowledge to sort through building codes, life safety, and accessibility requirements.
- Creating submittals & shop drawings by combining door schedules with product data.
- Creating and implementing door hardware keying schedules.
- Coordination with access control project manager as required.
- Value engineer product as acceptable.
- Verify all vendor quotes for duration of project.
- Confirm submittal project pricing as compared to estimated project pricing.
- Collaboration with project managers for job transition and technical support throughout each project.
- Review shop orders as required.
- Write detailed RFI’s (Request for Information) outlining any issues or verifications required.
- Upon return of submittal, revise as required for resubmission until final approval.
