FINANCIAL ANALYST

Our Tax Credit group is looking for excel savvy Financial Analysts who are ready to hit the ground running as part of an exciting new project.
In this role, you assist members preparing their applications for the Employee Retention Credit (ERC). You will be expected to gain an in-depth knowledge of this tax program and of other IRS tax credit programs as they are added to our service offerings. You will be responsible for guiding interested members through the application process and ensuring applications are prepared to capture the maximum tax credit available while meeting all IRS requirements. QUALIFICATIONS
•College degree in economics, finance, business administration, or accounting preferred
•1-2 years of work experience
•Experience preparing ERC applications preferred
•Must have business accounting and corporate tax preparation work experience
•Comfortable managing multiple deliverables at once
•Able to multi-task under time pressure
•Entrepreneurial spirit and willingness to take on challenges
•Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
•Ability to adapt to changing circumstances and priorities
•Strong analytical skills, accuracy, and attention to detail
*Comfortable working and learning independently
•Proficiency in excel required
DESCRIPTION & RESPONSIBILITIES
•Partner with relationship managers and members to complete Employee Retention Credit (ERC)applications
•Advise interested relationship managers on program requirements and qualifications
•Evaluate the accuracy and authenticity of documentation provided by members
•Prepare calculations, application documentation, and Form 941-X
•Manage workload/backlog to ensure reasonable turnaround times and response times to members and team members
*Ensure adherence to IRS guidelines and requirements
*Work with other review team members to finalize applications
*Build long-term relationships with clients and take advantage of cross selling opportunities
*Perform other ad hoc duties, as needed
