    New England's oldest and most successful home improvement company is expanding and we are looking for an experienced Sales Manager with a background in Home Improvement to develop our Connecticut branch.

    Overview:

    The General Sales Manager (GSM) is responsible to achieve the revenue and financial goals of the sales branch. The GSM will work with all other sales managers and NEWPRO management to provide support and follow through at every level for NEWPRO initiatives. Required to implement and promote NEWPRO operating policies and procedures to ensure optimal participation of staff reports.

    The GSM is responsible for the following:

    To recruit, hire, train, develop and maintain high performance sales personnel to meet or exceed company staffing targets.

    To ensure all NEWPRO sales department performance metrics are achieved and maintained (Key Performance Indicators – KPI’s).

    To facilitate timely procurement and processing of all sales contracts as per company standards and policies.

    To manage and control lead flow assignment and disposition outcomes in accordance with NEWPRO lead handling policies.

    To interface with the call center on the scheduling and planning of lead demands, product mix requirements and disposition processes.

    To interact daily with sales personnel on lead outcomes, educational needs, skills development and performance expectations.

    To work regularly in the field on lead assignments with sales reps to improve selling skills and to generate sales. The GSM is expected to “Lead by Example” to promote the NEWPRO selling system.

    To be accessible and available 24/7 to provide support to sales reps in need regarding job questions or sales education.

    To report as required (daily, weekly, monthly and annually) on the performance of the sales team.

    To interface with the field operations/production department to assist in achieving exceptional customer satisfaction and service as required.

    To ensure the compliance and cooperation of sales personnel regarding contract processing and the credit policies of NEWPRO.
