Qualifications
Basic Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of experience working as Photographer/Camera Operator in the field
- Minimum 2 years of experience as an Editor
- Proven experience managing and/or assisting live transmissions via LiveU, satellite trucks or local microwave
- Prior experience and thorough understanding on how to send stories via wireless technology
- Proven proficiency using Avid 6.0 Media composer and Mac operating system
- Proven proficiency using Sony HD series professional broadcast and SLR cameras
- Proven experience and proficiency in managing HD lighting and shot composition
- Must be fully fluent in English and Spanish (both written and verbal)

- Ability to multitask and work in a fast paced, dead-line driven environment
- Accustomed to working in a team and collaborating with all levels within the organization
- Proven editorial judgment
- Proven excellent interpersonal skills combined with a strong sense of how to visually tell a compelling story desired
- Strong computer/technical background and ability to trouble shoot under pressure
Additional Requirements:
- Willingness to travel with short notice and on weekends
- Willingness to work flexible hours including late and/or last-minute scheduling changes in a 24/7 production work environment
- Must be willing to work in the McAllen, TX area.
- Must be 18 years or older
- Must have a valid driver’s license
- Must have unrestricted work authorization to work in the United States
- Must be covered by Solutions, NBCU’s Alternative Dispute Resolution Program
