  • Responsibilities

    Insightful, powered by NewsBank, inc., is looking for a Business Development Representative. In this role you will serve as the front-line in prospect outreach, generating qualified opportunities and growing the sale pipeline for Insightful Account Executives. The ideal candidate will be a skilled relationship builder and problem solver. Position is Remote, from your home office in the US.

    Responsibilities

    • Identify and use effective prospecting strategies to connect with Insightful prospects
    • Identify the needs and challenges of the prospective customer
    • Determine the prospect's interest in and fit for Insightful
    • Schedule discovery meetings for sales representatives and prospects
    • Achieve daily and monthly activity and lead metrics
    • Maintain data health management

    Requirements

    • Self-starter who has a desire to learn, grow, and excel in sales
    • Team-oriented attitude and ability to work in a fast-paced sales environment
    • Results orientated
    • Effective time management
    • Excellent communication skills and telephone manner
    • Excellent listening skills
    • Knowledge of business processes and organizational structures
    • B.A./B.S. Degree

    Desired

    • Experience reaching or exceeding weekly/monthly activity goals
    • Previous experience in technical or software sales
    • Understanding of non-profit market
