Technical Skills/Experience:

• Impromptu reports

• SQL and SQL Server databases

• Oracle database

NexGen is currently seeking a Cognos Impromptu Developer to design, develop and maintain
software, working closely with co-workers and client teams including but not
limited to domain experts, technical leads and project manager. Utilizes experience in enterprise application
development to accomplish tasks.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the
following. Other duties may be assigned:

• Design, build, and test Cognos Impromptu reports

• Complete tasks in an efficient and timely manner

• Seek innovative ways to improve the process of
  delivering solutions to clients

• 4+ years strong experience with Cognos Impromptu
  tool set.

• Excellent interpersonal, organizational with
  exceptional written and verbal communication skills

Qualifications:

• Experience with impromptu reports – ability to
  modify existing reports and create new reports.

• Ability to write and understand complex SQL queries
  against Oracle and SQL Server databases

• Excellent communication skills

Education/Experience:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information
  Systems, or a related scientific or technical degree; or equivalent experience
