We are currently looking to hire a sharp Systems Engineer to develop data and network security initiatives internally and for our clients. Consult on Nexplay's Documentation structure with one of the primary goals being to eliminate the need for escalations due to missing, incomplete, or inaccessible documentation.
Advise on adding infrastructure checks in RMM and providing resolutions to said checks.
Develop a plan for implementing self-healing automation, etc.
Functional:
Perform & automate switch & firewall config backups
Refresh all infrastructure diagrams as necessary
Solve general escalations both remote and on-site
Audit each client and provide analysis on existing infrastructure health with respect to performance, robustness, and scalability
Refine & document the process for reproducibility
Strategic:
Implement a robust preventative maintenance/monitoring strategy.
Enhance existing site standardization strategy.
Enhance existing patching/event monitoring process strategy.
Standardize infrastructure packages for basic, standard, and deluxe configurations to provide modular setup offerings for clients.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Experience : Minimum 5 years experience in a client facing technology support role. Fortune 1000 experience a big plus.
Education : Computer technology degree preferred. MCP, Network+, Security+ or equivalent certifications are required. MCSE, CNE and other technical certifications are pluses.
General Skills : Must be able to perform job functions with attention to detail, speed, and accuracy; prioritize, organize and follow-up; be a clear thinker, remaining calm and resolving problems using good judgment; follow directions thoroughly; understand a guest's service needs; work cohesively with co-workers as part of a team; work with minimal supervision; maintain confidentiality of guest information and pertinent hotel data.
