The Big Task

You are an expert when it comes to recruiting. You will coach and mentor our members on best practices for recruiting, onboarding and retaining people for their organizations.

Ongoing Tasks

• Identifies and implements efficient and effective recruiting and onboarding methods and strategies.
• Provides guidance on best practices related to recruiting and retention of employees to our member companies.
• Actively works on internal projects (content and/or resources) related to recruitment and retention for use by our member companies.
• As a paid service, conduct leadership level searches for members.
• Actively contacts and networks with the public to find candidates who may not be actively searching for a new job.

Skills and Experience

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills with good negotiation tactics.
• Ability to create and implement sourcing strategies for recruitment for a variety of roles.
• Proactive and independent with the ability to take initiative.
• Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
• Proficient with or the ability to quickly learn applicant-tracking software or other recruitment systems.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
• Consulting – Experience in consulting or coaching key stakeholders in the implementation of best practices.
• Recruiting – Dedicated recruiting experience of at least 3 years.

Travel Requirements

• Up to 15% travel.

Physical Requirements

• This position requires you to sit at a desk for prolonged periods of time.
• This position may require standing for prolonged periods of time at Events.
