Mobile App Developer | New York City / Remote | ideally Full-time; Part-time accepted

ABOUT THE MOBILE APP DEVELOPER ROLE:

The Mobile App Developer will develop Next Gen HQ's MOMENTUM product, an ed-tech platform that helps people think more entrepreneurial and design their own lives. The MOMENTUM product consists of a digital platform (desktop & mobile app) that will provide top-tier entrepreneurship learning, access to an empowering community of leaders in pursuit of their dreams, and curated entrepreneurship resources.

Ideally, this Mobile App Developer will be fluent in react.native, with 2-4 yrs of professional engineering experience. As our Mobile App Developer, your typical Tuesday might include: 

• Evaluate existing web-based application specs and transform into mobile specs in colabboration with the UX/UI team
• A call with the UX/UI team to discuss the design specs before transforming them into Tech Specs 
• Brainstorm the scaling of the mobile architecture by incorporating feedback of Beta Platform users
• Executing Jira tickets to advance the mobile development
• Review applications with the product manager to continue to grow the engineering team

DESIRED SKILLS

• 2-4 years of experience developing native mobile applications for iOS
• Successful app deployments in both Apple Store
• Previous experience in Figma, Postman and AWS
• Experience working with mapping APIs
• Knowledge of backend infrastructure, REST and node.js is a plus
• Previous experience with a holistic mobile application development (from start to launch: school projects, small MVPs, etc - everything counts)
• Experience with working in a group of engineers

Compensation for this role stands at market rate for Mobile App Development and may vary depending on level and experience of the applicant.
