    Job Description

    We seek a dynamic Corporate Recruiter who will be responsible for developing job descriptions, sourcing talent, screening resumes, interviewing applicants and hiring well-qualified personnel that meet the needs of our hiring managers.

    Reporting to the Director of Human Resources, our Corporate Recruiter is responsible for building and maintaining a comprehensive pipeline using various sources, like career boards, social media and employee referrals.

    The qualified candidate will live within a reasonable commute to Gardena, CA, as we are unable to offer relocation assistance for this role.

    This position is responsible for strong-volume recruitment, at all levels, and is held accountable for meeting specific staffing goals (time to fill, diversity hiring, recruiting compliance, etc.).

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Collaborates with hiring managers in developing job descriptions or modifying existing ones to fit the needs of the department
    • Works together with the hiring manager to understand the staffing needs of the business including qualifications and skills
    • Posts approved positions to various job boards and leverages online recruiting resources to identify & attract caregivers while building a comprehensive pipeline
    • Proactively develop creative recruitment plans to include traditional networking approaches through community engagement with schools, colleges, vocational schools for skilled roles
    • Reviews application and interviews applicant to obtain work history, education, training, job skills, and salary expectations, as well as to provide information about the organization and position
    • Prescreen and assess applicants’ relevant knowledge, skills, soft skills, experience and aptitudes
    • Performs reference, background and DMV checks (if necessary)
    • Assists with the development of the recruitment strategy to meet the company’s requirements; works with the Marketing and Design team to develop job-related marketing content including social media posts, email campaigns and flyers
    • Enters and tracks applicant data electronically and runs weekly standard reports to track time-to-fill KPI’s for discussions with the Director of HR
    • Conducts timely market salary and competitor evaluations and reports results
    • Consistent application of HR and recruitment best practices and compliance with federal, state, and local laws and regulations
    • Participates in special HR projects and performs other duties as assigned

    REQUIREMENTS:

    • 3+years of HR experience in the areas of employment law
    • 3+ years of high volume recruiting experience
    • Excellent written, verbal and reading abilities
    • Bilingual English/Spanish required
    • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent years of combined education and work experience
    • Proficiency in MS Office Suite
    • Proactive, positive “can do” attitude
    • Solid ability to conduct different types of interviews
    • Excellent interpersonal skills. Ability to communicate professionally and cordially.
    • Analytical and methodical decision making abilities

    Schedule:

    • For now, and through May 2021, some remote work is available
    • Monday through Friday, 8-hour day shift. Some extended hours may be needed from time to time to reach potential candidates after work hours
