    Forbici Modern Italian restaurant, located in Hyde Park Village is currently seeking a Catering and Events Coordinator

    Catering and Events Coordinator

    The Catering and Events Coordinator reports to the General Manager and is responsible for the daily operations of Catering and Events, specifically of overseeing the booking of all large party requests, assist guest with menu selection, BEOs, and coordinate off-site events.

    General Responsibilities:

    · Increase catering and large party sales year over year

    · Book all large parties of 10 or more in the restaurant, encouraging set menus and a per person rate.

    · Ensure large parties are pre-set in Open Table to prevent double booking

    · Assist with the organization of off-site events

    · Monitor reservation email account and ensure large parties are contacted within 12 hours of request.

    · Deliver food and drinks as needed to off site guests.

    · Assist Guests with menu selection for all parties of 15 or more. Draft contract agreement, complete BEO, create and print menus and provide to manager-on-duty, communicate staffing needs.

    · Obtain rental equipment company to utilize for holidays or off-site events.

    · Market the restaurant via sales calls, delivering food to local business and hotels and provide a catering and events packet.

    · Attend manager meeting and communicate updates on large parties for the week, donations, catering orders and events for the BOH.
