In this role, you’ll have the unique opportunity to assist our teams in delivering exceptional client results and take your communications skills to the next level. AS A PR ASSISTANT AT NEXT PR, YOU WILL: Assist in client programs by researching and identifying key media targets – closely tracking coverage, industry trends and breaking news Support account teams in delivering exceptional PR results by crafting pitches and initiating outreach to develop relationships with targeted publications and vertical outlets, under supervision Research social media trends, monitor client social media pages and craft stellar social content Participate in creating weekly updates for team and client review, taking notes during weekly client calls and creating recaps/action items for internal review and client delivery Contribute to team and client meetings (with senior management direction), speaking with confidence to all activities that fall under your ownership, as well as in brainstorming, idea generation and research for client programs Collaborate with speaking and awards resources to maintain accurate client speaking and awards databases, ensuring they are updated consistently to reflect shifting deadlines, award results and client feedback on opportunities Participate in agency training sessions to actively gain more public relations and social media knowledge to increase skills within client relations and account teams Prioritize and manage tasks independently as well as elevate complex problems to senior staff
REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor’s Degree required; prefer degrees in Public Relations, Communications, Journalism or related field
Previous internship or similar work experience in public relations, journalism, marketing or related field preferred
$500 signing bonus with proof of COVID-19 vaccination
