DEVELOPMENT ENGINEER

SAN JOSE, CA (REMOTE)

6+ MONTHS CONTRACT

Duties: Adobe Search is looking for an Engineer with development background and experience of 6+years for a development role in Adobe Search on Creative Cloud backend. The role will involve work on web services, distributed systems, real time data processing pipelines, data mining & search technologies to power experiences on Adobe Cloud by build platform to enable the lifecycle of billions of images, documents and other assets in Adobe Cloud. 

Skills: 1.                   Java

2.                   Web services, REST, microservices

3.                   SaaS based software development 

4.                   Distributed systems at scale

5.                   Search indexing stacks - Elastic Search, Solr / Lucene (nice to have ) 

6.                   Real time processing pipelines on Apache Storm or the like ( nice to have ) 

7.                   NoSQL databases such as HBase, or similar 

8.                   Experience building applications deployed on AWS / Azure 

9.                   Containerization, Docker, K8s (nice to have) 

10.               Tools such as Splunk, Datadog, New Relic ( nice to have )
