    CREATIVE OPERATIONS COORDINATOR

    5TH AVENUE, NEW YORK 10011

    3 MONTHS+ W2 CONTRACT

     

    POSITION SUMMARY:

    The primary function of the Creative Operations Coordinator role is to administer a variety of processes and technical projects related to content ingestion, asset/data management and digital production support for the Content team. Duties for this position include but are not limited to the support of systems and tools used by Creative Operations and its customers, assisted ingestion of images and video using a variety of tools including the new ingest pipeline, creation and management of production support tickets, and consulting on general technology and operations topics.  In addition, as Stock launches its new content ingestion pipeline, this role will be critical in monitoring mass partner ingestions, daily reporting, troubleshooting, and communicating back to our partners as well as to internal stakeholders.

     

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

    Include, but are not limited to the following:

    • Regarding Adobe ingest pipeline:
      • Monitor ingest activity using Splunk queries
      • Analyze job reports, isolate errors, inform partners on resubmission, highlight system issues to internal engineering teams
      • Assist with partner onboarding including AWS S3 configuration
      • Provide partner facing reports on daily ingestion activity
      • Maintain Content team AWS S3 storage for assisted uploads via pipeline
      • Suggest automation points for assisted workflows utilizing pipeline, lead the testing and rollout of these automations
    • Assist with data collection in support of performance measurement across various Content verticals
    • Provide technical support for tools used and issues that affect content delivery
    • Develop and create documentation and support materials for workflows
    • Train other staff and stakeholders on tools and technical issues as needed
    • Analyze systems and workflows, identify problems, and develop and implement logical conclusions and effective solutions as it relates to file transfers, transcoding or automated scripting

     

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    Minimum Qualifications:

    • A degree or equivalent experience in media technology / library science
    • Strong Excel skills.
    • Strong understanding of cloud technology, especially AWS
    • Familiarity with monitoring of machine-generated data
    • Knowledge of Python programming language
    • Knowledge of data-interchange formats like JSON and XML
    • Strong communication and collaboration skills
    • Experience/training in providing technical support
    • Perform multiple tasks simultaneously, including handling interruptions, and return to and complete tasks in a timely manner
    • Ability to execute accurately under high-volume, time-sensitive conditions
    • Demonstrate integrity, ingenuity and inventiveness in the performance of assigned tasks
    • Ability to easily adapt to and learn new technologies
    • Maintain important records efficiently and accurately
    • Perform duties and responsibilities independently
    • Ability to coordinate, research, and analyze special projects/reports
    • Proficient knowledge of database structure with the ability to enter, manipulate, and report data
    • Perform time management and scheduling functions, meet deadlines, and set project priorities, including following up on such functions or projects
    • Must possess positive, professional interpersonal skills

     

     

    Desired Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s Degree in computer science field.
    • Experience in supporting technology and asset management systems in a digital media related field.
    • Experience with image and video transcoding.

     

     

    TECHNICAL SKILLS:

    • Web based applications and data access mechanisms.
    • Preferred: Understanding of image production (Photoshop, Illustrator, etc)
    • Preferred: Understanding of video production (Premiere, After Effects, Final Cut)
    • Required: Excel formulas
    • Preferred: Experience with asset management systems (DF Studio)
    • Required: Understanding of Mac/PC operating systems and software on web-based applications
    • Common Plugins and Browsers

    • Ability to compose, read, interpret and edit complex documents and correspondence and relate information to stakeholders.
    • Communicate positively, professionally, and effectively to all stakeholders, both verbally and in writing.
    • Follow detailed written and verbal instructions.
    • Accurately proofread numerical and text data.
