We are looking for an experienced DevOps engineer experienced with monitoring solutions, automation, CI/CD and cloud technologies. The successful candidate will work as part of the Adobe Fonts Team supporting the Adobe Creative Cloud products and performing operational duties for our cloud based platforms and services. Should be able to work effectively across groups and functions, listen to feedback and execute on the received requests.What you need to succeedThe successful candidate will demonstrate experience or capability in the following areas:

    • Recent experience of shell scripting languages such as Python, Ruby, Go, Shell scripting.
    • Experience with Unix/Linux system administration.
    • Recent large-scale experience with configuration management tools such as Chef, Ansible, Salt, Puppet, or equivalent.
    • Experience with platform monitoring and alerting tools such as Nagios, Grafana, New Relic, CollectD, Prometheus, RRD and/or other TSDB solutions.
    • Strong comprehension of continuous integration and continuous deployment methodologies, tools and software version control systems, with tools such as Jenkins, Vagrant, Terraform, Cloud Formation, Git.
    • Experience with designing, running, and/or consuming customer-facing cloud technologies such as AWS, OpenStack, Google Cloud Platform.
    • Experience using containers technologies such as Docker, Docker Swarm, Kubernetes.

    • Eager to learn, to take guidance, and understanding that there is always more to learn.
    • Ability to work hard as a member of a small team that is asked to do a lot while always remaining customer focused.
    • Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a multi-functional and collaborative team of developers and operations.
    • Is able to manage time properly such that commitments are communicated and then met.
    • Able to think holistically and excel at systems thinking.
