Job Description

Currently looking for an Accounting Associate to join the NextGen team and assist with our accounts payable and construction billing process.  Must be a team player with a helpful attitude and desire to grow professionally. 

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES

Enter vendor invoices daily

Process customer and vendor contact information updates in our system daily

Data entry of incoming invoices via email and US Mail 

Job Costing of expenses to correct Jobs

Vendor and Customer correspondence 

Perform construction billing as needed.

Collections for construction billing accounts receivable.

Organize and maintain files. Prepare miscellaneous reports as needed/requested.

Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

REQUIREMENTS

5+ year data entry experience

High School Diploma or equivalent

Basic Excel knowledge

Strong time-management and prioritization skills

Willingness to grow and improve

Customer service oriented attitude

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

College graduate or some college

5+ year AP experience

Construction billing experience

Experience with accounting software

Additional Information

SALARY

$15.00-$18.00/hr depending on experience
