NextStep Recruiting has partnered with a Contruction company in Dallas, Texas, to identify a Job Cost Supervisor to join their team on a direct hire basis. Our client is a well-known national company with decades of experience in the US market.

The ideal candidate will have:

• 7+ years of construction billing or progress billing
• 1+ years of managing a construction billing department
• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field
• Thorough knowledge of accounting procedures and best practices
• Experience working in an accounting department that adheres to US GAAP

The ideal candidate would have the following experience:

• Full ownership of the Job Cost System and review of all aspects impacting the general ledger
• Reviews and produces ad hoc reports and provides analysis as needed
• Assists in the preparation of the annual audit schedules
• Support the development of processes and procedures in the Job Cost Department
• Works with CIP Reports, Lein Waivers, project audits, review progress billing
