Asset Performance Management (APM) - Reliability Engineer
Nexus Global’s APM Engineer must be self-motivated, enthusiastic, flexible, and results oriented to support the clients’ “Living Reliability Program”. Using your expertise to develop and implement optimized maintenance and reliability strategies to improve the business and operational performance. The role will require extensive client engagement, products and services management, sales support, and travel.
Role:
Provide technical and professional collaboration with the following Nexus Global departments: Technology, Sales & Marketing, Regional Managing Directors, and CEO. Assist with identifying clients’ needs and providing technically sound solutions based on clearly understanding Nexus Global APM products and services
Responsibilities:
Evaluate client’s business and technical requirements including scope of work from RFP/RFI/RFQ by:
Identifying short-term and long-range issues that must be addressed; providing information and commentary pertinent to negotiations
Provide consultation and explore an array of potential solutions or options that provides a full picture of the scope of work that ensures requirements are fully vetted so the most appropriate offerings are leveraged
Work with in-house system experts to detect issues and possible solutions – discuss potential solutions with technology team
Develop detailed cases studies of various projects
Participate in proposal discussions and review meetings
Ability to work through challenges and effectively communicate any changes, issues, and actively work toward collaborative solution
Ensure solutions satisfy business requirements and are presented to the highest quality
Verify delivered solutions are monitored, managed appropriately, and adequate business controls in place
Become the product and subject matter expert representing Nexus Global to prospects, partners, and customers utilizing our APM solutions
Account Management, Project and Software Support for various clients & industries
While representing Nexus Global, a high level of integrity, business ethics, and morals is required
Qualifications:
Technical background in reliability, mechanical, or electrical engineering
Have knowledge and experience in performing Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM); Failure Modes & Effects Analysis (FMEA); Planned Maintenance Optimization (PMO)
Facilitation skills
Familiarity with various software applications (i.e. SAP, Maximo, Oracle, MS Office)
Strong written and communication skills, including the ability to make formal presentations and translate technical information into easily understood terms
Experience with customer service, interactions, and collaboration
Ability to work with different levels of the organization C-suite to shop floor
Strong analytical skills
Valid License and Passport
Preferred Qualifications:
BS-Engineering/Reliability or Equivalent
Professional Certification
5-8 years’ experience
6 month objectives:
Support clients on an as needed basis within competency
Learn the Nexus Global APM solutions to a knowledge level and transition to a mastery level
Assist in development of business engagement framework for area of competency

Solid line reporting to local Managing Director
Dotted line reporting to CEO on strategic thoughts and technical knowledge when it comes to development of process and content for software & assessments

30 to 40% from office
60 to 70% travel (both domestic and international)
