    Compensation: Starting at $300k per year, with a potential of going beyond $400k per year

    ** Overview:** Nexus HR seeks a Pain Management Physician for a reputable San Jose, CA pain management clinic. The ideal physician must have experience in Pain Management and preferred experience in handling complicated patients with high MME and or polypharmacy issues.

    Client-highlighted qualification(s) - Licensed to Practice in CA, with at least one year of background in pain management.

    About the Job:

    The job is for a client, and that job is located in San Jose, CA. The pain management physician identifies diseases, plans treatments, and gives patients ongoing pain care.

    Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Provide high-quality pain management to patients and their families.

    • Assesses patient health by interviewing patients, performing physical examinations, and obtaining, updating, and studying medical histories.

    • Documents patient care services by charting in patient and department records.

    • Provides continuity of care by developing and implementing patient management plans.

    • Maintains a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.

    • Protects patients and employees by adhering to infection-control policies and protocols.

    • Complies with federal, state, and local legal and professional requirements by studying existing and new legislation, anticipating future legislation, enforcing adherence to requirements, and advising management on needed actions.

    • Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional societies.

    • Develops health care team staff by providing information, educational opportunities, and experiential growth opportunities.

    Qualifications :

    • At least one year of experience as a Pain Management Physician

    • Board Certification is highly preferred

    • Passed the U.S. Medical Licensing Examination

    • Licensed to practice in California

    • Active DEA license

    • Active BLS Certification

    • Active participation in continued medical education and membership to a professional organization is highly preferred

    • Able to work in San Jose, CA
