MG Hosting Services is a cloud-based data hosting company that aims to protect healthcare providers and patients from the rapidly increasing dangers of cyber theft and data loss and we’re looking for an enthusiastic IT Associate to join our dynamic and global IT team. This position is mainly based in Los Angeles, CA where you will be working out of one of our LA clinics, but will entail a handful of traveling to our office in Sacramento and other clinics in different locations. This position is also open to fresh graduates who have valuable experience during internship and are highly trainable.
Duties and Responsibilities:
We are looking for an IT Associate to be stationed in our Sacramento office, and can travel to and from our different offices and clinics when needed.
- Install, maintain and configure hardware and software systems according to company policies.
- Troubleshoot and repair network, hardware and software components.
- Perform routine maintenance and inspection of network and server systems.
- Test network and server systems to verify functionality and performance.
- Perform hardware and software upgrades to achieve optimum performance level.
- Perform root cause analysis of complex problems and provide corrective actions.
- Maintain IT infrastructure and manage help desk issues.
- Perform system back-up and database archiving processes to ensure data recoverability.
- Update software antivirus on a regular basis.
- Provide technical support to servers, networks, telephones, and other computing platforms.
- Order and stock equipment and supplies when necessary.
- Provide advice and training to other associates.
- Assist in the installation and maintenance of the telephone system.
- Possesses cloud infrastructure knowledge
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or any related field
- Two to three years of experience as an IT Associate or any relevant experience
- CompTIA A+ certified is highly preferred
- Experience working with EHR/EMR is highly preferred
- Strong computer knowledge in, but not limited to, Windows, Microsoft Office, and Google Suite
- Proficient communication skills
- Willingness to travel to and from our different offices and clinics
- Authorized to work in the US
- Able to work in Sacramento, CA
