    THIS POSITION WILL OFFER YOU:

    PAY: $40,000-55,000 annually

    SCHEDULE: Mon - Fri 8 hour days

    ACCOUNTING CLERK JOB DUTIES:

    • Generally provide accounting and clerical assistance to the accounting department (real estate, restaurants and general contracting functions) 
    • Prepare weekly bank deposits, general ledger postings, and statements, and invoice coding 
    • Prepare monthly bank and credit card reconciliations 
    • Help with weekly check runs 
    • Prepare and post tenant bill back invoices 
    • Reconcile accounts in a timely manner 
    • Daily data entry of key financial transactions 
    • Filing A/P backup for each property 
    • Research, track, and restore accounting or documentation problems and discrepancies
    • Daily opening and distributing of mail 
    • All lease and administrative filing and support 
    • All meeting room prep and clean up 
    • Manages office equipment services and maintenance (including copier, postage meter and shredding) 
    • Ordering of office supplies 
    • Storage room upkeep (including moving and organizing storage boxes and files) 
    • Answering phones and greeting clients

     

    ACCOUNTING CLERK BACKGROUND PROFILE:

    • 2+ years of accounts payable experience
    • 2+ years of account receivable experience 
    • Microsoft Excel proficiency
