Nexxis Solutions is looking for a variety of Cybersecurity and related Engineering professionals for a large Information Assurance contract bid, to include:

• SCA (Security Control Assessors) - mid to senior level

• ISSO (Information Systems Security Officer) - all levels

• ISSE (Information Systems Security Engineer) - all levels

• ISSM (Information Systems Security Manager)

General Overview

Be part of a team helping ensure proper level of security for customer software systems and network. Duties will include protecting system boundaries, keeping computer systems and network devices hardened against attacks and securing highly sensitive data.

Possessing deep and wide expertise in the security space as well as having a background in security and/or systems engineering will be critical in these roles.

Responsibilities:

• Organize computer security architecture and develop detailed cyber security designs
• Review, develop and implement security measures for the protection of computer systems, networks and information
• Define system security requirements and prepare reports on your results
• Review and document standard operating procedures and protocols
• Configure and troubleshoot security infrastructure devices
• Create technical solutions and new security tools to help mitigate security vulnerabilities and automate repeatable tasks
• Perform support and consulting of the company's personnel about security incidents and measures
• Prepare detailed reports including assessment-based findings, outcomes and propositions for further system security enhancement

Requirements:

• 2+ years' experience of related security engineering in cleared customer environment
• Building and maintaining security systems
• Working with firewalls, intrusion detection systems, anti-virus software, authentication systems, log management, content filtering, etc
• Network security and networking technologies and with system, security, and network monitoring tools
• In-depth knowledge of database and operating system security
• Familiarity of the latest security principles, techniques, and protocols
• Understanding of web related technologies, including applications, services, Service Oriented Architectures (SOA), networking protocols etc
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to multi-task
• BS degree in Computer Science or other related area (additional experience will be considered in lieu of degree)
• CWIP IAM Level I or higher is required (i.e., CAP, CND, Cloud+, GSLC, or Security+ CE certification)
• CISSP (or equivalent) strongly preferred

Clearance Requirements: Current DoD TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph is required.
