JOB FUNCTIONS:

Ability to install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical problems of packaging/processing machinery

Responsible for regular preventative maintenance to prevent equipment downtime.

Work with maintenance crew and outside contractors to carry out maintenance and repair projects in mechanical, fabrication, plumbing, welding functions.

TECHNICAL SKILLS:

· Working knowledge of Electrical and Mechanical Systems, computers in an industrial environment and troubleshooting.

· Ability to read schematics and trouble-shoot various pneumatic, hydraulic systems, PLC’s, networks and motors.

· Have a basic understanding to include, but not be limited to the principles of belts, belt drives, chain drives, gearboxes, conveyors, and hydraulic systems.

· Knowledge of computer and automated machines.

· Strong maintenance, plumbing, electrical background (manufacturing preferred) in AC/DC motor control, troubleshooting, and electrical wiring codes.
