    Job Title: Business Development & Customer Relations (BDC) Representative

    Reports to: General Manager

    Position Description: The BDC Representative is directly responsible and accountable for maximizing sales and profitability of the Business Development Center. Must present a professional appearance.

    Duties & Responsibilities:

    • Respond to inbound internet leads
    • Call, email and text current customer base
    • Set up appointments for sales and service
    • Provide pricing, payment options and appraisal values virtually
    • Ability to use internal systems to set appointments for sales in equity mining.
    • Ensure sales/profit forecasts are achieved by attaining agreed quarterly sales/profit forecasts for BDC department.
    • Ensure measurement of all incoming sales inquiries and product monthly and weekly reports for dealer principal.
    • Formulate sales targets
    • Assist the BDR team to attain a minimum performance set by management.
    • Contact every unsold opportunity to measure satisfaction and take appropriate action.
    • Contact every delivered customer to company policy/franchise requirement.
    • Contact all new car customers to company policy/franchise requirement.
    • Maintain a professional atmosphere within the BDC office.
    • Complete all training as directed by supervisor.
    • Follow policies and procedures as set forth in Employee Handbook.
    • Any other duties as assigned.

    Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:

    Educational: High school diploma or the equivalent.

    Experience: Call center experienced preferred, but not required.

    Special Skills (i.e., licenses, certifications): Excellent communication skills. Good judgment. Highly motivated. Ability to work well with others. Ability to use personal computer applications. Current valid driver’s license.

    Physical Demands and Working Conditions:

    Frequently works on a computer or doing other “close vision” work in a typical office environment. Occasionally requires the ability to lift 20 pounds of material. Is potentially exposed to battery acid, gasoline, chemical cleaning materials or other toxic materials commonly found in a motor vehicle dealership. Occasionally exposed to loud noise, exhaust fumes or other airborne particles.

    Our store has grown tremendously and is competing in the top ten Ford Dealers in the Pittsburg region on a monthly basis.
