Responsibilities: Coordinate and interact professionally with industry contacts such as loan officers, underwriters, brokers, buyers, sellers, and realtors Work in compliance with state and federal laws and regulations when dealing with escrow transactions and escrow accounts Obtain, review, and clarify purchase agreements, contracts, title commitments, and lender instructions to ensure successful closing Ensure all terms and conditions of the purchase agreement are being completed timely and accurately Collaborate with the title examiner to issue the title policy Qualifications: A valid Real Estate License is required for this job Prefer college degree or equivalent work experience — high school diploma required Proficient working with escrow / title software Minimum 3+ years of experience working with real estate closing: residential sales, refinance, commercial sales, REO and short sale escrow Solid knowledge of title insurance, regulatory guidelines, the escrow process, legal documents, and real estate property law Must possess a strong understanding of real estate contracts, mortgage loans, title commitments, and title insurance Compensation: $15 - $20 hourly
