Job Description
We are seeking a multidimensional software engineer who will be responsible for coding and testing new features in an existing code base, with an emphasis on testing. Responsibilities: * Analyze the feature requirements * Based on the requirements, create test cases, and perform the tests * Analyze any issues found and provide detailed information to the developers * Analyze any customer issue reports along with log files and be the first line of troubleshooting * Work closely with mechanical hardware devices * Reviews statement of work and provides critical feedback * Based on SOW produces test cases * Performs testing of software and hardware as per the test plan * Produces detailed release notes * Identifies problems before the software is shipped to the customer. * Interacts with customers in fully understanding and replicating the issues reported by them * Manages and maintains the bug tracking database * Manages and maintains build scripts * Familiar with programming and scripting * Familiar with mechanical and electrical systems Technical Skills: * 2-5 years of experience in software development and testing * Knowledge of C# and C++. Delphi and Python are preferred * Experience with writing test cases * Experience writing test scripts * Semiconductor industry knowledge is preferred. Familiarity with SEMI standards is a plus * Factory automation experience is preferred * Hands-on experience with mechanical hardware such as robotic arms, loaders, aligners etc. is a plus Other Skills: * Inquisitive, Critical thinker, and analytical * Can work independently without being micromanaged * Writes organized and comprehensive reports in an articulate manner * Good written and verbal communication skills * Team player * Willing to travel occasionally Important - You must be authorized to work in the US.
