SUMMARY

Provides support to the Sales Department in the capacity as outlined below.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned. 

• Stocking in of all new vehicles (checking in, assigning stock numbers, etc).
• Prepare new car inventory for viewing every morning, ensuring proper display on the lot, etc.
• Responsible for overall organization of the new car inventory.
• Prepare the used car inventory for viewing every morning.
• Clean wheels and apply dressing to tires on all used car inventory, weekly.
• Assist in the stocking in of all direct vehicle purchases.
• Assist in the stocking in of all vehicles purchased from wholesalers.
• Check entire used car inventory weekly to ensure cleanliness of vehicles and that each vehicle is operating properly.
• Procure all marketing materials for Certified and Assured vehicles.
• Assist in the maintaining of Kelly Blue Book for the used vehicle inventory.
• Ensure that used cars are written up in service and sent to a technician for appropriate reconditioning.
• Coordinate and instruct Vendors with regards to the used vehicle inventory and all reconditioning being done.
• Communicate with Used Car Manager the status of reconditioning. Attain Used Car Manager’s approval on reconditioning when necessary.
• Maintain organization of the back lot, daily.
• Maintain professional appearance and cleanliness of the used car lot.
• Attractively display used vehicles with the appropriate promotional materials.
