    Job Description

     

    Responsibilities:

    • Be a thought partner to the COO & CFO and Leadership Team on defining company vision and strategy for delivering shareholder value – both for internal partners to optimize execution and for external parties to understand our direction
    • Use detailed and measured analysis to advise the executives on expected investment community reaction to various strategic decisions and current market perceptions of the company
    • Own the planning and preparation of Board materials for the corporate functions
    • Key partner to corporate communications, medical publications team and commercial teams to ensure a clear, integrated, single message for communications
    • Monitor industry and competitor developments, alert management and prepare proactive and reactive plans as needed
    • Lead the communications and education of sell-side analyst community, providing clear direction and engaging to develop further relationships
    • Demonstrated ability to work across the broader finance, accounting, manufacturing and commercial functions to understand and influence business trends and incorporate this understanding into our external communications
    • Leading the coordination of investor / private equity relations
    • Owner of our investor relations materials, including relevant press releases and investor presentations, consistently refining and updating to meet the dynamic nature of our business
    • Serve as the key link between the investment banking firms and teams for investor engagement and financial modeling

     

    Requirements:

    • BA/BS is required; MBA or CPA a plus
    • 10+ years of progressive finance in the manufacturing industry
    • Ability to travel 10-20% is required
    • Established relationships and credibility with investors, analysts and management teams in the manufacturing
    • 5+ years of experience developing and presenting to the Board of Directors on financial matters
    • Demonstrate core values and the attributes that support these core values (integrity, commitment, humility, collaboration, impact)
    • Proven ability to speak the language of a manufacturing company and break down complex concepts for external audiences
    • Is collaborative, flexible, innovative and adaptable - Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced working environment and work diplomatically and tactfully with others
