Position Overview
The Nielsen Research Interviewer role is a Part-time remote position where you will make outbound calls to consumers across the US to conduct the Nielsen Ratings survey. Your goal is to grab the attention of our consumers and get them to agree to participate in the survey. This position has strict guidelines with high productivity and quality requirements.
Position Details:
This is a Part-time work-from-home position. In order to work from home you must meet these requirements:
Must be within a commutable distance of the office location (Columbia, MD, Dallas, TX, San Antonio, TX or Tampa, FL)
Able to connect to High-Speed Internet in your primary residence with minimum speeds of 80 Mb
Able to connect directly to a router/modem with Ethernet cable
You must have a dedicated workspace to conduct phone calls where others cannot hear/see personally identifiable information.

Schedule Requirements
Flexible Schedules: AM, PM or combination
Type of shift: Multiple shifts (AM, PM)
One weekend shift required each week (Saturday and/or Sunday)
5 shifts per week
40 hours per week
Job Details:
Practice exceptional customer service and telephone techniques
Follow strict guidelines for obtaining consistent unbiased data
Deliver verbatim scripts for portions of a survey
Maintain participants engagement throughout a short or medium length survey with low to medium complexity
Maintain patience and professionalism throughout surveys
Ability to listen to and accurately capture respondent answers over the phone
Persuade reluctant respondents to participate in surveys and diaries
Maintain confidentiality of procedures, scripts, and respondent information
Meet quality assessments standards and call monitoring requirements
Maintain center standards for performance and productivity
Position Qualifications
Required: 2 years call center experience
18+ years of age
Computer and typing skills (Data entry)
High School diploma or GED equivalency
Bilingual (Spanish and English) premium paid to those that qualify
