    POSITION: OUTREACH COORDINATOR

    JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

    -          Tracking/calling/scheduling/follow-up all Lasik leads including consultations, post-ops, and surgeries

    -          Welcome all patients to the Lasik Clinic with a warm, friendly smile

    -          Focus conversations with patients on the patient or the procedure, avoiding personal conversations and gossip

    -          Confirm, update, and verify all patient demographics and clinically necessary information

    -          Ensure patients are scheduled according to the Doctor’s scheduling preferences

    -          Monitor the schedule for late patient arrivals and missed appointments; follow up with patients to confirm arrival or to reschedule for next available appointment

    -          Perform general office duties: mail distribution, daily shipping and receiving, and shredding of protected health information

    -          Follows HIPAA policy in all aspects of communication and office procedures

    -          Write clearly, concisely, logically, and legibly

    -          Reviewing/Updating/Scanning surgical charts in patient files

    -          Attend and contribute to weekly meetings

    -          Organizing and hosting COPE events for doctors in surrounding area

    -          Build and maintain strong relationships with other medical providers including ODs and MDs

    -          Assist in constructing bi-monthly newsletters for ODs and MDs in the greater Boston area

    -          Create “Thank You” cards for all patients following their Lasik Consultation

    -          Any other tasks as assigned by leadership team

    JOB REQUIREMENTS:

    -          2+ years Customer Service (preferably in a call center but not required)

    -          Experience with Microsoft applications such as Excel, Word,  Powerpoint

    -          Bonus applications: CareTracker, MDProspects, MDIdentity, Yelp

    -          Prior experience in a medical setting (i.e. Dental, Optical, Medical) preferred but willing to train the right candidate

    -          Adaptability and Growth-Mindset

    -          Knowledge of English composition, grammar, spelling, and punctuation

    -          Positive energy and willingness to work in a team environment and independently
