    Job Description

    The primary role of the Manager, Analytics is to conduct analysis, provide insights and effectively activate clients through our solutions. Associates will primarily focus on Revenue Management, Optimization/Revenue Growth Management and Business Drivers. 

    He/she will be responsible for all aspects of the analysis including conducting analysis of results, simulating client plans, creating deliverable materials, and supporting presentation/training/tool delivery. This position will be primarily supporting Insights/Analytics, RGM, Key Account Management and more.

     

    RESPONSIBILITIES: 

    • As the Analytics Manager - Price & Promotion you will act as a key business partner to our client and be the everyday base pricing and trade promotion effectiveness expert for the organization 
    • Support core pricing & promo analytics (e.g., brand ladders, pack price curves, price & promo simulations) leveraging full capabilities of NIQ tools 
    • Develop and lead client teams through designing, executing, and presenting analytic projects to meet clients’ objectives 
    • Ensure pro-active insights and action-oriented solutions are delivered to the team by being an expert with an ability to explain methodology behind all key analytics to the client 
    • Serve as primary liaison, manage timelines and priorities both internally and externally 
    • Lead trainings of Nielsen Revenue Management tools and Business Drivers

     

  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    • 4-8 years of relevant experience in Market Research, Consumer Packaged Goods, Consulting or Analytics    
    • Strong logic, deductive reasoning, problem solving and critical thinking skills              
    • Skilled & polished communicator, both verbal and written 
    • Able to effectively communicate to small and large groups in meetings and presentations 
    • Demonstrated mastery in data analysis & application to client business issues                
    • Demonstrated strength in maintaining positive client relationships in complex situations & resolving client issues                                                                                
    • Strong project management skills 
    • Able to work collaboratively with internal & external teams 
    • Strong sense of urgency and accountability to drive client outcomes 
    • CPG industry knowledge, experience, and acumen 
    • Expertise in Manufacturer Sales functions (RGM/Revenue Growth Management, RMO, Category Management, Key Account Analytics, Headquarters Sales, etc.) 
    • Bachelor's degree required 
    • MBA or advanced/analytics degree preferred
    • Strong analytic background         
    • Strong Marketing/Research background
