    Job Description

    As an Operations Manager, you'll oversee Market Insights operations in designated countries, ensuring successful implementations, effective budget management, and process improvement. You'll provide operational consultancy, represent the sub-region on leadership groups, foster automation, and ensure team alignment to achieve targets.

    Responsibilities:

    • Establish and maintain trustful relationships by collaborating across business units and departments to foster trust, commitment, accountability, and results.
    • Provide guidance and coaching to your direct reports and teams.
    • Be a driver of transformation and change.
    • Ensures the team meets the needs of the Sales/Client Solutions.
    • Develops and promotes a service- and performance-oriented culture within the team and Operations.
    • Implements and follows global standard procedures and processes.
    • Ensures global quality guidelines, especially documentation of working processes.
    • Ensures professional workload management, monitors workload, and optimizes staff utilization.
    • Overall responsibility for people development/career progression within the local Ops units.
    • Evaluates team performance, identifies areas for improvement and implements either training or processes to support improvement.
    • Develops skills in the local Ops units across methodologies, industries, and specialisms so that the team can offer consultation to the Commercial Teams.
    • Clearly communicates global and local strategy to the teams; sets goals, provides direction and guidance to direct reports.
    • Responsible for the operation unit budget, monitors key metrics.
    • Identifies and implement efficiencies in the workflow/structure.
    • Ensures cost saving opportunities by using the Global Service Centers/HUBs
    • Establishes and maintains excellent working relationships with the Global Service Centers.
    • Drive and role-model an empowered and engaged high performance culture within the team and operations as a whole focused on data supply and quality.
    • Ensure efficient resource management based on sub-regional objectives and requirements.
    • Take ownership for analyzing and evaluating business processes leading into actions to streamline processes, to improve operational efficiencies and to identify opportunities for reducing operational costs.
    • Manage controls and compliance.
    • Build and use knowledge of industry trends to identify opportunities to improve processes either through general improvements or via new technologies.
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    • 8+ years of experience in operations and a proven track record of managing teams in a matrixed environment.
    • Background within the Market Research industry. Experience within the Tech & Durables space is highly desirable.
    • Strong understanding of operations processes and KPIs
    • Background in Change Management and Transformation.
    • Multi-cultural leadership experiences.
    • Expert communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Bachelor's or Master's degree.
