Nigh is seeking an individual to join our team and help with our mission to revolutionize the way we experience and support local. We are looking for a Local Event Associate to join our world class team. As a Local Event Associate, you will be hands-on with facilitating local drops and cultivating relationships in our community.
You will be a part of our mission to change the world! Duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
Summary of the Local Event Associate (part-time) opportunity : ****
- Assisting with hanging posters around Boulder
- Guerilla marketing drops
- Leading and executing drops
- Supporting businesses with “Pro App” drops
- Participating in Tik Toks and other social media content
- Filming and editing drop videos
- Supporting and actively participating in drops
- Talking to and connecting with local businesses
- Developing new marketing strategies to help mission/spread awareness
- Growing our userbase on the app
- Getting employees on the app prior to drops
- Maintaining relationships with partnering businesses
- Supporting our content team
- Filling in when short handed
- Participating in team meetings
- Checking-in users at drops
- Troubleshooting issues at drops
- Gathering feedback at local drops to share with the team
- Providing excellent customer service to all business partners and customers
- Putting stickers up in partnering businesses
Requirements:
- Comfortable in a fast-paced, goal-driven startup environment
- Can commit a minimum of 20 hours a week Monday-Sunday
- Must actively participate in Slack and team discussions
- Must have stable means of transportation
- Must be able to make Nigh their number 1 priority
- Outgoing personality and comfortable in crowds
- Must be able to stand on feet for long periods of time
- Must be willing to take initiative
- Agile and adaptive in responding to challenges that arise in a startup environment
- Driven and willing to make “personal sacrifices” to achieve team goals
